Welcome my friend! My name is Dev Sarang Khalsa and I am a master kinesiologist and Biodynamic craniosacral therapist.
The famous American educator, John Taylor Gatto, once wrote:
“I’ve come to believe that genius is an exceedingly common human quality, probably natural to most of us.”
It is so true. Inside each and every one of us lies, usually hidden, an astounding magnificence, the likes of which the planet has never seen before.
Each one of us has some talent that no one else can, or ever will, duplicate and if we even know about it, we often think nothing of it.
Problem is, most people end up covering that breathtaking brilliance by trying to conform. This life strategy NEVER works and we end up struggling and ultimately failing at everything that is important in life. It is an all too common tragedy.
Come, you genius, and let us explore the perfection of our humanity!
One of the most important things I have learned is that your life will never “work” until you have certain things in place:
- First, you must find your path of the heart. This is this path which brings you joy and makes the journey easy. You may go through difficult periods, but just think of what it would be like if you weren’t following your heart!
- Second, it is your sacred duty to keep on that path and to never, NEVER give up. Make this a commitment to yourself. Your heart’s path may evolve as you travel and grow and learn. It may not be the same as when you started your journey, but it remains your path.
You see, I got messed up when I was a younger. I became a scientist and lived my life through my intellect. You know the kind. People call them eggheads and they are very, very boring people. I just didn’t know any other way.
In 1972 and 1973 while still in university I held summer jobs working as a biologist in a Canadian government study of environmental damage due to oil exploration in the western arctic. Through my training I believed that science could help heal the earth.

During that period I saw native elder, chief Dan George, talk about the nature of the white man.
Chief Dan George
His words had a huge impact on my life.
I reached a spiritual crisis and ended up making a decision to give the scientific career up. The result was I spent a year hitchhiking from Canada to South America. My voyage was truly a life altering experience to say the very least and I was actually very lucky to get out alive. I could have been killed several times.
It was on this trip that I started the process of learning how to let my heart guide my thinking instead of allowing my thinking to guide my heart.
On returning home to Canada I met and became a student of this man, Yogi Bhajan. I’ll talk more about him later.
On Perception and Touch
As we grow up we all go through a process of being “socialized”. By our parents, by society and by the school system.
My dictionary defines “socialize” as “behaving in a way that is acceptable to society” and this is precisely what happens.
Through this process we learn:
- to operate mainly through our logical left brain
- to obey orders
- to conform to some standard of behaviour
In short we are “dumbed down”. See my article Dumbed Down By The Education System? Awaken Your Genius Now!
We have forfeited something of our birthright, something that is a very basic part of our humanity. It can be described as an ability to feel, to perceive and to be an individual.
It is a very big loss.
In my life I have been able to tap into an ever deepening ability to perceive through my sense of touch. It is something that we are all capable of, but most of us have cut ourselves off from this kind of natural intelligence.
Unfortunately many of us have graduated into being hard nosed and logic dominated skeptics, incapable of exercising the natural talent to feel.
I was able to develop this ability through years of meditation, experimentation and practice. It also required a willingness to follow my gut instinct wherever it happened to lead me.
You too can learn to have an enhanced sense of touch. After all, it is your birthright.
I have created this website along with Sacred-Touch.org in order to share and teach some of the ways I have been able to use this “enhanced” sense of touch.

My career experience:
I have done many things in my life including being: a businessman, a kinesiologist, a biologist, a carpenter, a builder, a landscaper, a minister, a teacher and a yogi.
My wife and I have operated a highly successful naturopathic clinic in Toronto, Canada for the past 24 years. The experience has enriched our lives in so many ways and we are very grateful.
