We Can’t Paper Over This Economic Crisis

Think about it.

On August 15, 1971 US president Richard Nixon took the United States off the gold standard. The US dollar was now essentially backed by nothing more than the integrity of politicians in Washington.

Present day government spending has now reached a point where it is so far out of control there is no hope of paying off the debt without creating hyperinflation.

We have seen trillions of dollars in bailouts for corrupt “too big to fails”.

And while Wall Street has been paying out record bonuses, Main Street America is in debt, out of work and more than ever, dependant on food stamps.

In 2010 a huge glut of millions of baby boomers begin to turn 65 and are now starting to collect pensions.

43% of Americans now have less than $10,000 in savings for their retirement.

Food prices are now rising dramatically, with an jump of 2.4% in March 2010 alone, the largest monthly increase in over 26 years.

We are in a state of never ending war with military personnel on bases in 140 countries. Historically endless wars have always brought empires down.

The greatest wealth transfer in history is about to happen and it will hit many people hard.

May there be peace in our hearts.

May there be peace for all humanity.

May there be perfect peace on earth.
