If you have ever had a rat infestation in your building you know it can be slightly perturbing to say the least.
My wife and I had bought a building in downtown Toronto, Canada. We found out to our utter dismay there were rats in the walls. I called the city and I was told to cover over their entry ways with wire mesh and to use rat poison.
Which I did to the best of my ability. Trouble was, the rats were tunnelling in underground from the sewer system and I had no idea of where their entrances were. For every rat I poisoned thousands more were available to take its place.
It was a futile effort going nowhere.

All I can tell is what I did. Rats kept coming into our property from the city sewer system. It was useless to use traps or poison because there was an endless supply of them.
1. All their food sources have to be removed or at least as much as possible.
2. I used an essential oil diffuser and diffused essential oils into the air. The rats disappeared within 24 hours. There are many types of diffuser on the market. The best use a process called atomization where the oil is NOT heated. The diffusers I use are sold by Young Living.
3. I have used a number of essential oils and they have all worked. The one I started with is a blend made by Young Living called Purification. I have also used a number of citrus oils, like Lemon and Grapefruit. They have worked too. Just to be safe I continue diffuse once or twice a month for about an hour.
I have been teaching essential oils for the past 16 years and I use Young Living Essential Oils. They are one of the best sources of therapeutic essential oils on the planet.
