Meditation On The Sounds Of The Solar System

If you do the math the motion of the planets around the sun and the rotation of the sun itself can be transformed into an audible frequency.

You can do this easily by looking up the orbital period of the planet in days. In Earth’s case it is 365.24 days. Convert this to the total number of seconds. For Earth this value is 31,558,149, the number of seconds / cycle.

Next invert it to get the number of cycles / second (Hz). It will be a very small number. For Earth it is a very very low C# (actually a flat C#).

This value can then be transformed into a frequency that your ear can hear.

The video above is a meditative journey through our solar system.

Find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted. Wear headphones if possible. If you listen closely you may be able to notice that you strongly resonate with one or more of the sounds.

Enjoy and share your experience in the comment section.

May there be peace in our hearts.

May there be peace for all humanity.

May there be perfect peace on earth.

  1. Dev,

Thanks for a very interesting experience. I found a similar result to Joshua’s comment above.
Strong resonance with the Sun. Strangely resonated with Mars more than Earth.

  2. I immediately got a huge grin when i heard the Suns frequency. It felt blissful. The earth felt balancing. mercury was an enjoyable sound. venus was somewhat attractive sound but didnt resonate strongly. Mars was good. I resonated with that. the rest of the planets felt weirder, alienating almost, an ungrounded floaty feeling. I think it was saturn that irritated me..
