Your Pineal Gland Wants YOU To Meditate!

The pineal gland may be the source of states of ecstasy and altered consciousness that can be experienced during meditation. In this video Dev Khalsa describes his experience.

  2. Hi Dev,

You are the only person I have found to mention the inner sound. This is something that I have always heard, sometimes more than others and I also have another phenomenon (at least for myself) which happens occassionally, and quite a lot as a child. Once in a while I get a “synthesiser” type sound which will be a buzz note (like a sawtooth waveform if that makes sense) that happens inside my head for around a second of time. This noise will just happen once randomly and used to happen a lot as a child. Since then I have experienced this same sound when connecting with my inner self or raising my energy levels, which has been a little unsettling (or even reassuring, but for what reason I don’t know) and can occur when I have very profound thoughts in a kind of synchronistic way in terms of timing. I was wondering if you have heard this too or if you have ever had anyone talk about it. I’m fairly sure I’m the only one who can hear it when it happens in my head and find it difficult to describe. I’d like to find someone who has had the same or similar experience as to what this sound is and you certainly seem to be clued up on these things. Anyway, I’m loving your videos and your general nature, carry on what you do and keep the good vibes flowing.

    Many thanks,

    Paul

  3. Hi Dev

I have this high pitched sound that comes on for no reason, no matter what I’m doing, it will last for only about 10 seconds, during this time & a few seconds after, some of the mild tinnitus sounds that I do have, will become totally silent, then gradually comes back. This happens only a few times a month.

    • Hey Jerome,

When you get the high pitched note, does your hearing shut off temporarily? I’ve had that happen in the past but not for a long time, don’t know what it is

  4. Good Morning Dev,
